A temporary pavilion for Jerusalem Design Week - أسبوع التصميم. Collaboration with: Dafna Kron Daniel Zarhy Lila Chitayat
The Sound installation is a 30 min. piece incorporating 12 Ready Made sound sources from solo instruments that evoke the concept of EAST, imaginary or concrete. The sounds reverberation than spirals in the circle of speakers immersing the listener in the sound of the EAST.
The pavilion questions the relativity of the east. It is a site specific mechanism of form and performance: framing the sun, sky, sound and the movement of people. The pavilion hosts dance, performance as well as an imaginary tea ceremony combining eastern traditions.
